What You Can Expect During and After JUVEDERM® Injectable Gel Treatment

Wrinkle correction with JUVEDERM® is a quick, in-office procedure with immediate results and no downtime. Common side effects are usually mild or moderate. The most commonly reported side effects are temporary injection-site redness, swelling, pain/tenderness, firmness, lumps/bumps, and bruising. Exposure of the treated area to excessive sun and extreme cold weather should be minimized until any initial swelling and redness have resolved. If you are taking medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or blood thinners, let your physician know before injection.

JUVEDERM® should not be used in patients who have severe allergies, or history or presence of multiple severe allergies. JUVEDERM® should not be used during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or in patients under 18 years of age.
